I’d like to start this story with words of admiration.
Paying tribute to fashion and being an admirer of certain designers, I did not expect that Stephane Rolland will make me just stood still in amazement at his summer haute couture show.
Inspired by «spiritualité», «tantrisme», «Indian summer» and «Gandhi», he created a divinely beautiful collection.
His previous works have repeatedly been marked by connoisseurs of fashion. Talented and handsome Stephane sends graceful girls drowning in silk on the podium. Constructions of collars and the dresses of crepe are deceptive: “How can such beauty be created by hands of a man?”
Snow-white midi dress with closed front, broad shoulders and sleeves falling in cascades amazed me with its open back and decorative gold ornaments.
Shots of gold and tinsel envelope the body from head to feet, boldly “falling” from the shoulders and conveniently resting on the waist, capturing the fabric in the form of brooches and gingerly resting on the chest.
Flowing skirts, heaving plumes and dégradé turning either into sleeves or into a hem of the dress amazed with their colours: saturated – copper and brown, tender – beige and white, and expensive – gold and black.
In a dress from Stephane Rolland an ordinary girl can afford to become Aphrodite or Venus, to win and break the hearts with her elegance, chic and sexuality.
