We had a wonderful occasion to visit the festival this year. It’s located in French Côte d’Azur in a beautiful French city between mountains and sea, called Hyeres. Every year the atmosphere at this festival is incredible and positively never the same.
This year the president of the fashion jury was Charles de Vilmorin with his exhibition Le Chaos. Powerful vision, bright colors, breathtaking shapes and forms. Talented in every way possible, words couldn’t explain it. (See photos below)

The President of the accessories jury was Alan Crosetti. He is a Brazilian jewelry designer and founder of his brand. His exhibition was very integral and unusual called “Body Politics”.

During every festival winners of the previous year, have their exhibition in Villa Noailles main place where the festival is always located. The winner of the photography competition in 2022 was Rala Choi. His exhibition called “Lovers” stole hearts. There was a magical atmosphere inside this place. This year he was one of the jury in a photography competition.

The main event of the festival is always a fashion show where 10 finalists of the festival show their collections and then winners are nominated by the jury and public.

Photography Public Vote Prize won Kin Chan Koedel photographer from Shanghai. His project was inspired by Chinese traditions and local heroes with their own stories.

Likewise, at the festival, there were a lot of fascinating performances and master classes with festival participants and sponsors. Lemarie made a masterclass with feathers, where all guests and participants could try the gluing technique after all guests made one feather print on a piece of fabric. It may embody a sense of community and the joined efforts of handmade work.

We’ll be waiting for next year’s festival and are absolutely eager to see collections and exhibitions of the winners and new participants.
