37th Hyeres Festival of Fashion photography and accessories.
Annual fashion festival located in Villa Noailles is one of the most important professional events in Provence region, France.
President of the festival is Jean-Pierre Blanc.
Every year in this festival participate 30 students and graduates from different fashion universities all over the world.
10 fashion designers
10 photographers
10 accessory designers
Very interesting is that this year 4 participants of Fashion design competition were from Finland.
And the winner of Grand-Prix Premier Vision Jenny Hytonnen is also from Finland (actually her project was one of that I liked the most)
10 collections of finalists were shown in the hangar Salin de Pesquier. Atmosphere was like in spaceship. Each collection had their own song. All inside of the hangar was silver and bright colourful lights complimented every silhouette.
Eco-responsible prize Mercedes-Benz and le19M prize winner is designer Valentin Lessner from Germany.
L’atelier de Matiere prize winner is Sini Saavala from Finland with her underwear sustainable collection.
The winner of photography competition became Rala Choi. Surely his works stand out from others. Very interesting character of realisation and bright personal look. Each photo is like an independent picture creating together a whole story.
The winner of accessory jury prize became Joshua Cannone. With his interesting collection of black fluffy dummy backpacks.

Every year there is a brand creative director of whom is President of Fashion jury and honour guest of the festival. There is also an exhibition of silhouettes from the brand on the second floor of the Villa. This year it was Diesel and Y-project.
President of Fashion jury was creative director of Diesel and Y-project Glen Martens.
President of photography jury was Pierre Debusschere.
There was an exhibition of his photos called Spectrum. Very interesting joining of colour, material and interaction with big white space where works were shown. Definitely bright impression.
President jury of accessories was Aska Yamashita art director of Atelier Montex. This atelier makes embroidery for different fashion brands and they have their own projects.
They also made very interesting masterclass for guests of the festival. All had an opportunity to try embroidery.
Material for the master class were pieces, the same as on exhibition which was in front of. So guests had an opportunity to make a piece of art what they already saw, but at the same time bringing their own vision of embroidery and bead arrangement to it. Complete freedom and joining of experience. It was very unusual idea to embroider on leather. Not easy though.

Every year festival create presents for guests.
This year that was colourful shawl from Aska Yamashita and Atelier Montex project of embroidered print with details and bags in different colours.
It is very important to do such things because it’s promoting festival and gives people good remind so that good memories about the festival.
There were also “Exulte”dance performances by Nick Coutsier and “Hairy” dance perfomances by Dovydas Strimaitis, Hanna-May Porlon and Lucretia Nardone.
And wonderful jewellery made of flowers master class with Claire Iseppi.
Interesting and rich programm of the festival gives an opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of creation and endless possibilities to explore world.
Every festival is a celebration of human creativity in fashion and related industries.

Partners of the festival are Hermes, Chanel, LVMH, Atelier Montex, Diesel, Bottega Veneta, Gallery Lafayette, American Vintage Mercedez-Benz and others.
