London PAP SS2018

It was the creative director of Burberry Christopher Bailey at the backstage of his show, who defined the main trend of London fashion week spring 2018:

“A little more honest, a little less polished”: thus high meets low.

The notes from the show of a very in vogue Ukrainian designer Natasha Zinko completed the message: “An eclectic clash,” a juxtaposition of “supreme femininity . . . with harder utilitarian references”. Here we go:

1. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is functional and now fashionable. Can be transparent, colored, plain or adorned

2. Sandals + socks is not a sign of bad taste any more but rather a sign of being well tuned to the latest trends

3. Net bag doesn’t look cheap neither (ask Mr. Armani). It might need an inner pocket just in case you put in some tiny belongings;-)

4. Stripes for Americans, checks for English: quite obvious yet trendy

5. Yellow color (together with already stated at New-York fashion week fuchsia and red) gets into fashion power next spring – stay fresh and free from frustrations!
