Fashion house Armani Privé presented their collection at the haute couture week in Paris and the feeling of «deja vu» was bugging me. Not once and not even twice I talked about the recurrence of fashion. Having traversed a certain temporal spiral, everything comes back. So I decided to dig in the archives of our magazine and found the Armani fashion show of 2011.

I wouldn’t talk about 100% match, but certain similarities have place. Spring-Summer 2011 collection is futuristic, bright and memorable. Fall-Winter 2015/2016 also characterized by its brightness and color extravaganza (fuchsia, pink, blue, purple, green) with a metallic sheen.

While in 2011 each of these colors (except fuchsia) was chosen for individual elements and entire ensembles and the metal sheen sent us directly to the future, now all the colors are mixed together and became a kind of “last night’s fireworks”. Riot of colors fell on the silk and feathers fringed the dresses. Lots of lurex, beads, sequins, velvet and feathers. Too much in my opinion, but I could be wrong.
