The fashion world has lost another legend. Diagnosed with cancer in 2006, the famous couturier Oscar de la Renta passed away on October 20, 2014.

De la Renta created clothes that emphasized the beauty of women. His dresses were outside of the era and time; they are works of art that delighted and will continue to delight generations to come.

Designer, being a true gentleman and an admirer of beauty, not just turned sketches into clothes: he imbued them with elegance and a touch of romance and sophistication. This, certainly, was to a taste of First Ladies Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush.

His last dress, which was admired by almost the entire world, was a wedding dress of Amal Alamuddin.
