The couture house of Russian Yulia Yanina, whose Parisian shows every season gather the fashion crowd in the most beautiful places of the French capital, continues to gain momentum. Moreover, the style of Yulia, in which intricately intertwine Russian folk motifs, delicate femininity and gentility, attracted not only Moscow high society beauties, whose number in the first row of the show continuously grows, but also some foreign divas. Thus on the red carpet was noticed hot Eva Longoria in sensual outfits of Yanina.
Not by chance the art director and co-president of Chopard Jewerly Caroline Scheufele chose the new collection “Back to basics” of Yulia to showcase jewelry of the brand: royally strict and at the same time seductively feminine, made in monochrome black to not, according to the designer, be distracted by randomness of the color, Yanina outfits are the best setting for precious creations of Chopard.
Nobility of cozy velvet Yulia perfectly combines with transparent tulle. But the real “savoir-faire” of Yanina is, in my opinion, the hand-made embroidery. Not being inferior to western counterparts in skill and grace, the seemingly lost tradition of Russian embroidery and goldwork is being reborn.
