“Jardin du Palais Royal” is one of the most suitable places for the haute couture show of the fashion house On Aura Tout Vu. Their collections resemble a synthesis of nature, abstract matters and technology. As the basis of their new collection Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov took regular water: flowing, shining, life-giving and all-consuming. H2O is a vital component of the human body and all the flora and fauna on our planet. And of the art as well – in which we got convinced once again.
Almost motionless mermaids dressed in charcoal black suits, glittered with scales were silently greeting guests. Certain dresses were literally falling in cascades, flowing and developing on the wind, while others amazed with their complex undulating construction. Lovely shades of blue, azure, indigo and gray were diluted by coral color.
But the most striking were details and accessories. Thin shiny threads decorated umbrella and reminded torrential downpour which you cannot escape from. Masks and scuba diving tubes turned into fashionable handbags and sunglasses. Fragile, dangerous crystals and shiny stones were scattered on shoulders, waist and even lenses of the glasses. Rubber boots and a fur coat made a perfect ensemble.
On aura tout vu goes beyond insane and practical and creates its own cocktail of H2O.
