Giambattista Valli for a good reason emphasizes that his latest fall-winter couture collection is the fifth one. From season to season charmed fashionistas are watching the wonderful evolution of the powder-flower style of the most romantic Parisian designer. Each time creations of Giambattista are more thoughtful, organic, lacking anything superfluous. They are imbued with soft femininity, youth and spring regardless of the fashion season.

Inspired this time by the fragile elegance of porcelain, whose avid collector the designer is, the collection is divided into four parts, each of which corresponds to a certain location famous for its porcelain manufactories.

Italian Capodimonte, whose pristine white images opened the presentation were followed by blue-white palette of Wedgwood, reminiscent of the famous Delftware. Baby-doll silhouette goes next to a bustier dress and rich satin draperies.

The part of the collection devoted to the French Manufacture nationale de Sèvres differs by blood-red tones of long tulle dresses. Sumptuous airy basques in combination with floor-length sheer skirts add originality to silhouettes. Culminated the show dresses inspired by Meissen porcelain, famous for its multi-color, which the designer interprets in a refined floral applique.

However, even the most sophisticated description cannot match the visual aesthetic of works of haute couture art by Giambattista Valli.
