On Aura Tout Vu FW 2011

Every day we look in the mirror: either closely or just glancing. And what do we see? Our own reflection, be it a joy or sorrow … the world around us. The designers of “On aura tout vu” fashion house see more. A woman who can be a princess, a wild cat or a “poor lamb” – each can has its own reflections. They have brought this diverse image and created the Fall-Winter 2011-2012 collection from small fragments of the “through the looking glass” world.

Settling down under the trees in the Palais Royal garden, we observed a divine Shiva, personifying the destructive origin of the universe; an eccentric rock bar girl dressed in “leather”; a chic urban maiden in mink coat; a secular party girl in a short jersey dress.

Many models of dresses and trousers were made of lace and looked devilishly sexy. Long leather gloves and boots added piquancy. I, however, as always, especially liked open back and decorations, crowning and perfecting the entire image. Pieces of glass, shatters of mirrors – all sparked and shimmered in the sunlight. And here she is: the snow-white bride of “On aura tout vu” in a dress made of transparent tulle covered with small plates of mystical mirrored motives, with a sheer cloak of pure white tulle on her shoulders. An embodiment of light and beauty.

Peeking in my mirror and not seeing in reflection in anything special, I winked at myself and asked: “Mirror, mirror, who is the most beautiful in the world?” And immediately answered: “everyone of us”.
